Jungle Park is a zoo and botanical park in Arona run by Aspro Parks, the same company as Aqualand. It's cheaper than Loro Parque and its programme is shorter: a morning of shows and a quiet afternoon among the lemurs and the aviary, with no orcas or dolphins.

If you're searching for it as "Parque Las Águilas", this is the one: the name lives on in the address, Urbanización Las Águilas del Teide. The best plan is to go on the first free bus, buy your ticket on the official website if your date is fixed and, if you're also going to Aqualand, get the 2 Parks ticket.

Our picks

1

The most flexible

Cancel or change the date until 23:59 the day before, at the gate price.

2

GetYourGuide alternative

The same ticket at the gate price; check the cancellation terms in the listing.

3

Only if your date is fixed

Same price, but on Headout you can't cancel or change.

Shows and times

All the shows are included in the ticket. This is the programme the park publishes; check it on the day of your visit on the official website.

Time What
10:00–17:30 Bat cave
11:00–16:00 Aviary and lemur walk
12:00 Coati and raccoon feeding
12:15 Penguin feeding
12:30 Birds of prey show
13:30 Sea lion show
All day Orchid house

The maths is simple: by 14:00 the shows are over, and the aviary and lemurs close at 16:00. The afternoon is for strolling without hurrying. For lunch, La Palapa looks onto the sea lion and bird theatre, and there's also Pizzería El Canario. You can bring your own food and drink, without glass containers.

The BOB, Jungle Raid and the paid extras

The BOB is a sledge-style slide more than 800 metres long and isn't included in the ticket. The park doesn't publish its price: ask at the ticket office before you promise it to the children. Jungle Raid, a 300-metre course over rope bridges, is free.

The extras are sold inside the park, and only there: photos with eagles and exotic birds, animal feed machines, the Animal Passport (with falconers, meerkats and squirrel monkeys) and a sea lion encounter. They can't be booked online.

Jungle Park ticket prices: official website, gate and platforms

Prices from the official Jungle Park website, gate / online:

Ticket Adult Child Mini
1 day €36 / from €34 €29 / from €27 €16 / from €16
2 Parks (with Aqualand), 90 days €53 / €51 €42 / €40 €22 / €21
2 Parks season pass €109 €97 €62
Canary Islands residents, 1 day €22 / €20 €16 / €13.50 €10 / €9

Jungle Park's website doesn't give the ages for each rate. At Aqualand, run by the same company, child means 5 to 10 and mini 3 to 4: check when you buy if your child is on the borderline. Online there's also a Family Pack (2 adults and 2 children) from €120 and a Friends Pack (4 adults) from €134, which can't be used on the day you buy them. Dated tickets are valid for that day and undated ones for 90 days; you show them at the gate as a QR code.

Who Jungle Park is for

It suits families staying in Costa Adeje, Las Américas or Los Cristianos who want a zoo without crossing the island, and anyone who'd rather not see whales and dolphins in shows. It works out €8 to €10 cheaper per adult than Loro Parque.

If you're after orcas, dolphins and a full day out, the place is Loro Parque, in Puerto de la Cruz. And if you have several beach days, the combination that makes most sense is Jungle Park one morning and Aqualand another day with the 2 Parks ticket.
