Terms of use

tenerife.org.es is an information website: it doesn't sell you anything or enter into any contract with you. These terms explain what you can and can't expect from it.

Updated 2 October 2026Facts checked against official sources

These terms apply from 2 October 2026 to anyone who visits tenerife.org.es. By using the site you accept them; if you don't agree with them, please don't use it.

What this site is

tenerife.org.es is an independent guide, published by the tenerife.org.es team, with information about activities, tickets, excursions and operators in Tenerife. Its purpose is to inform. It is not the official website of any public authority, park or company, as we explain in the affiliate disclosure.

We don't sell anything

The site doesn't sell products or services, doesn't take payments and doesn't create user accounts. There is no contract of sale between you and tenerife.org.es.

When you book through a link or an embedded calendar, your contract is with the platform (GetYourGuide, Tiqets or Headout) and, through it, with the operator providing the service. That booking is governed by their terms: price, cancellation, refunds, changes and complaints. Anything to do with a booking must be dealt with through them; you can see how each one works in our reviews of GetYourGuide, Tiqets and Headout.

Prices, availability and opening times

We review the information regularly, but we can't guarantee that prices, availability, opening times, routes or rules are always up to date. Operators change them, and activities at sea or in the mountains may be called off because of the weather, works or a decision by the authorities. The figure that counts is the one shown on the official website or on the payment screen before you confirm. We explain how we compare prices in the price comparison.

Safety and permits

The recommendations on this site are no substitute for your own judgement. Before an excursion, check the forecast, your fitness and the equipment you need, and follow the instructions of guides, lifeguards and the authorities. Obtaining any permits an activity or protected area requires, and keeping to its rules, is each visitor's responsibility.

Liability

We take care to make sure the information is correct, but it may contain errors or omissions. To the extent permitted by law, tenerife.org.es is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the information published, from decisions made on the basis of it or from services contracted with third parties. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under consumer protection law.

If you spot a mistake, let us know at info@tenerife.org.es and we'll correct it.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence. We may update them when the way the site works changes; the version in force is always the one published on this page. How we process data is explained in the privacy policy.
