Music Hall Tavern (MHT): the drag show with dinner
If you're searching for "MHT Tenerife", this is it: Music Hall Tavern, a comedy drag dinner show that has been on the island for more than 15 years. It has moved back to the centre of Playa de las Américas and now performs at Vivo Show Bar, Avenida Rafael Puig Lluvina 7. Plenty of guides and maps still put it at its old venue.
There are four performances a week; in October, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Doors at 19:00, dinner at 19:45, show at 20:45, interval at 22:00 and out at around 23:00.
Prices on the official MHT website: €49 adults (13+), €39 children aged 4 to 12 and free up to age 3, although you have to declare them when booking. It includes a three-course dinner served at the table, a souvenir photo and the show; drinks are extra. Pirámide de Arona: History, not Carmen Mota
The Pirámide de Arona is the auditorium of the former Mare Nostrum Resort, now Spring Hotels: 1,587 seats on Avenida de las Américas, opposite the Hard Rock Cafe. It has no resident company; each promoter programmes and sells its own shows. Carmen Mota's flamenco isn't on, however often it still turns up in searches.
What's on now is History – The Evolution of Music: two and a half hours of live music from Mozart to Michael Jackson, with 8 musicians, 8 singers and 15 dancers and acrobats. It's ticket only, with no food or drink. Seats aren't numbered and the bar is small: have dinner first (the Hard Rock is opposite) and arrive early to get a good seat.

Scandal: cabaret with dinner, adults only
Scandal Dinner Show takes place in the Sala Las Olas at the Hotel GF Victoria (Calle Fernando López Arvelo 1, Costa Adeje), Fridays and Saturdays from 20:30 to 23:00, with doors at 20:15. It's cabaret with live vocals and acrobatics, served with a tasting menu.
The Gold ticket includes the show, the tasting menu and unlimited wine, beer, soft drinks and water during dinner. Platinum adds a glass of cava and a better location. Canary Islands residents get 15% off with the code RESIDENTE on the official website, which allows free cancellation up to 24 hours before. Paid transfers are available with partner companies from the Los Gigantes–Playa Paraíso area and from Puerto de la Cruz.

Medieval night at Castillo San Miguel
Castillo San Miguel now trades as Medieval Adventure (medievaladventure.com), in Aldea Blanca (San Miguel de Abona), inland. It isn't a historic castle but a venue built for the show. Performances on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, doors at 18:30, about two and a half hours with dinner and a tournament. It's sold with or without a coach from all over the island, with a VIP option (priority entry and cava); its website advertises 10% off online, an offer for residents and free parking.
