Klook Tenerife reviews: prices, cancellation and is it worth it?

Klook is big in Asia, but in Tenerife it's a fringe seller: few products, single-digit review counts and no price better than the official one. Watch out for its Siam Park "from €16": that's the rate for Canary Islands residents.

Klook makes sense if you're already a customer: if you live in Asia, have credits or discount codes and prefer to pay in your own currency and read in Chinese or Japanese. For everyone else, in Tenerife it offers nothing you can't find on the official website or on a platform with more local reviews.

We don't earn a commission from Klook. We judge it by the same criteria as our partners.

Who's behind Klook

Klook Travel Technology Limited is based in Hong Kong. It was founded in 2014 by Ethan Lin, now its chairman and chief executive, Eric Gnock Fah and Bernie Xiong, with venture capital from funds such as Sequoia Capital and Bessemer Venture Partners. It bills itself as the largest experiences platform in Asia-Pacific, with about 310,000 offers in 4,200 destinations, and has filed to list on the New York stock market. It has a partnership with Tiqets.

How it works

What you buy on Klook is a voucher. According to its terms, Klook may provide the service itself or on behalf of the operators, but the activity is offered by the operator. You get a confirmation by email and a voucher you can print; the operator may ask you for photo ID.

Klook warns that operators can pay for extra visibility, and those products carry a "Sponsored" label. Reviews are requested after a completed booking, but Klook reserves the right to edit, translate, reject or remove them.

What it sells in Tenerife

A search for "Tenerife" returns about 77 results, and not all of them are on the island: a ticket in Tokyo turns up among them. Much of it looks like resold European inventory, with the same products as Tiqets: the Pyramids of Güímar at €12.50, the same as there, and Bodegas Monje from €15.40, the Las Américas go-kart track from €22 and the Aqua Club Termal spa from €44, slightly dearer than on Tiqets (€14, €20 and €40).

The rest: Siam Park, the Siam Park all-inclusive, Aqualand at €37, Jungle Park at €36, whale-watching boats in Adeje from €52.90 and Costa Adeje from €64.90, a tour of Teide, Icod, Garachico and Masca from €82.25, a medieval dinner at €52, Teide in the afternoon with stargazing at €145.69 and a tuk-tuk from €30.39. Reviews are minimal: Siam Park is rated 4.5 from 8 reviews.

Before you buy on Klook, always open the list of packages: the "from" price is that of the cheapest package, and on Loro Parque group tickets that package is the residents' one. The Twin Ticket appears "from €28", and the visitor price isn't visible at first glance: don't buy it without opening the packages.

Adult prices checked on 2 October 2026. They can change with the date; each platform confirms the final price.

Klook sells Aqualand at €37, the same as the three platforms in the table and €2 more than the Aqualand website, where the online ticket costs from €35 depending on the date. The same with Jungle Park: €36 against from €34 on junglepark.es, where the joint ticket for both parks also comes down to €51. Nor is it cheaper for excursions: it doesn't have the short whale-watching trips that start at €25 on other websites (its own start at €52.90), and its Teide, Icod, Garachico and Masca tour, from €82.25, starts at €58 on GetYourGuide. All the comparisons are in compare prices.

Cancellation, payment and customer service

Its terms say cancellation deadlines "vary on a case-by-case basis" and that, unless a product says otherwise, what you pay for vouchers isn't refundable. If you cancel in time, you get everything back on your card, and the same applies if the operator cancels. In Tenerife, Aqualand and Jungle Park can be cancelled free of charge, Siam Park advertises free cancellation with no deadline visible on the listing, and the Siam Park all-inclusive can't be cancelled.

Support is by email (support@klook.com) and through the help section of the app. On Trustpilot it scores 4.5 from about 29,000 reviews, with 9% one-star, and it replies to 98% of negative ones within 24 h. That's a snapshot of today and reflects its worldwide business, not Tenerife. Customers praise how easy it is to book and the prices; they complain about slow or unhelpful support when something goes wrong and about bookings whose details don't match.

It covers nine of the ten languages in this guide, including Hungarian, Chinese and Japanese. Only Lithuanian is missing.

The good

  • Nine of the ten languages in this guide, including Hungarian, Chinese and Japanese
  • Siam Park at the official visitor price, €44
  • Useful if you already have Klook credits or vouchers

The not so good

  • Tiny catalogue and hardly any reviews in Tenerife
  • "From" prices that are Canary resident rates
  • Unclear cancellation rules
  • No price better than the official one

Who it suits

Travellers from Asia-Pacific with a Klook account, credit or vouchers who want to pay in their own currency and read in their own language. If that's you, only buy park tickets at the visitor price and check the package. For everything else, use the official website or a platform with local reviews.

Alternatives

GetYourGuide is also available in Chinese, Japanese and Hungarian, and has a far bigger catalogue on the island. Tiqets sells the same parks and sights with more reviews. Civitatis and Viator are better for excursions; Headout for Siam Park with pay later.

Why is Siam Park €16 on Klook?

That's the rate for Canary Islands residents, who have to prove residency at the entrance. A visitor pays €44, the same price as on the official website.

Is Klook cheaper than the official website in Tenerife?

No. For the parks it charges the same as the other platforms, and at Aqualand and Jungle Park €2 more than their own websites.

Can a Klook booking be cancelled?

It depends on the product. Aqualand and Jungle Park can be cancelled free of charge; the Siam Park all-inclusive can't.

Does Klook have reliable reviews for Tenerife?

Very few: its Siam Park ticket has just 8 reviews. To compare other travellers' experiences on the island, the platforms with more volume are more useful.
