Tiqets Tenerife reviews: prices, small print and is it legit?

Tiqets is good for Aqualand, Jungle Park and small sights, and bad for Siam Park and Loro Parque: the same price as everywhere else, but no refunds and no date changes. It's also now owned by Expedia Group.

Tiqets started out selling tickets and it shows: in Tenerife its strongest suit is park tickets and small sights, all kept in an app that works offline. For boats and excursions its catalogue is short and has few reviews. The serious problem lies with the island's two best-selling tickets, Siam Park and Loro Parque, which can't be cancelled here.

We earn a commission from Tiqets when you book through our links. Even so, for those two tickets we recommend a different website, and we explain why.

Who's behind Tiqets

Tiqets International B.V. is based in Amsterdam and was founded in 2014. Its chief executive is Laurens Leurink and its founder is Luuc Elzinga. For years it was an independent Dutch company, with Airbnb among its investors, but Expedia Group bought it and the deal closed in February 2026. It says it has sold more than 70 million tickets.

How it works: the "Provider" line matters

Tiqets presents itself as an intermediary: you're not buying from Tiqets but from the museum, the park or the tour company. Every listing shows the legal provider, and that's where the surprises are. For Aqualand and Jungle Park the provider is Aspro Parks Canarias SL, the company that owns the parks. For the Teide tour it's Teleférico del Pico de Teide SA. For Siam Park, Loro Parque and the Twin Ticket, however, Tiqets International B.V. itself is listed as the reseller, and those are exactly the tickets where refunds are hardest to get.

Tiqets admits it may take each ticket's profitability into account when ranking results.

What it sells in Tenerife

Its categories list 40 attractions, 22 water activities and just 5 cruises and boat trips, with products repeated across them. Its must-see list is headed by Siam Park and Loro Parque, followed by a whale-watching trip, History the Show, Aqualand, Teide and the go-kart tracks.

Its home turf is the sights other websites pay less attention to: the Pyramids of Güímar from €12.50, the Drago park in Icod from €5, the Palmetum from €6, the Parque Marítimo César Manrique in Santa Cruz from €7.50, a tasting at Bodegas Monje from €14 or go-karting from €20. "Combos" of two unrelated tickets come with a 5% discount. More in museums.

Nor does it sell a standalone cable car ticket, only Volcano Teide tours that include it, and Santa Cruz's MUNA museum only appears in a bundle with the "Teide Legend" audio guide at €21, with a single review. Watch out, too, for the €25 whale-watching trip "from Los Cristianos": it actually leaves from Puerto Colón, in Costa Adeje, with the company Marítima Ludo Mar.

Adult prices checked on 2 October 2026. They can change with the date; each platform confirms the final price.

At Loro Parque and Siam Park Tiqets charges the official €44, the same as everyone else. The Twin Ticket is shown crossed out from €84 to €78 with a "-7%" label, but €78 is exactly the official price: there's no discount. At Aqualand (€37) and Jungle Park (€36) you pay €2 more than on their own websites, and the combo of the two costs €73, against €51 for the official joint ticket on junglepark.es. The Teide tours are sold at the volcanoteide.com rate: €92 with the cable car, €21 for the observatory, €178 for the climb to the summit.

Cancellation, payment, app and customer service

This is what matters most about Tiqets: you can only cancel if the listing says so, and each provider sets its own rules. The 14-day cooling-off right doesn't apply to dated tickets.

On the plus side, at Aqualand and Jungle Park you can cancel or change the date until 23:59 the day before, and the Teide tour with the cable car up to 24 h beforehand. Read the changes and cancellations section on each listing. If the provider doesn't deliver your tickets within 48 h, you get the whole order refunded, and you can make a claim up to 28 days after the ticket date.

Its terms and conditions don't spell out the payment methods or how long a refund takes: check them at the last step before paying. Tickets are stored in the app, can be used offline and at Siam Park are scanned from your phone at the turnstile. Support is 24/7 through the help centre.

It covers eight of the ten languages in this guide; Hungarian and Lithuanian are missing. On Trustpilot it scores 4.3 from more than 61,000 reviews, with only 7% one-star, although it can take up to a month to reply to negative ones. The apps are rated around 4.7. These are today's figures and they move. Customers praise having everything in one app and getting in quickly; they complain about non-refundable tickets, unclear meeting points and a "fast track" with small print.

The good

  • Tickets for small sights that other websites don't carry
  • Aqualand and Jungle Park cancellable until 23:59 the day before
  • App with offline tickets
  • Few one-star reviews

The not so good

  • Siam Park, Loro Parque and Twin Ticket with no refund or date change
  • "-7%" on a Twin Ticket that costs the same everywhere
  • No longer sells transfers in Tenerife
  • Payment methods and refund times are hard to find

Who it suits

It works if you want Aqualand, Jungle Park, Güímar, the Drago tree, the Palmetum or go-karting together in one app, and if you like combos. Don't use it for Siam Park or Loro Parque: you'll pay the same and lose the cancellation option. If you're going to both Aqualand and Jungle Park, buy the official joint ticket, and buy the cable car on volcanoteide.com (€43 return).

Alternatives

For the big parks, GetYourGuide, Headout or Civitatis, for their cancellation leeway. For day trips with pick-up, Viator. Klook sells a catalogue very similar to Tiqets', with which it has a partnership, but with almost no reviews. Everything side by side in compare prices.

Can I cancel a Siam Park ticket bought on Tiqets?

No. On Tiqets, Siam Park, Loro Parque and Twin Ticket tickets can't be refunded or moved to another date. GetYourGuide, Headout and Civitatis sell the same ticket at €44 with free cancellation.

Does Tiqets sell airport transfers in Tenerife?

Not any more. Its Tenerife transfer pages redirect to a general city page and there's no product available.

Is Tiqets cheaper than the ticket office?

At Siam Park, Loro Parque and on the Teide tours it costs the same. At Aqualand and Jungle Park it's €2 more than on the official website.

Who owns Tiqets?

It's an Amsterdam company founded in 2014 that now belongs to Expedia Group.
