If you search for "Karting Las Américas" and get a track with a free bus from your hotel, you're seeing two places mixed up. The one with the bus is Karting Club Tenerife, on the Carretera del Chó, by exit 66 off the TF-1, in Arona. Karting Las Américas is a different track, in Fañabé (Adeje), by exit 78, and doesn't advertise any transport.

Both are outdoors, but they suit different things: Arona has the long track and more categories; Fañabé has the adult kart from age 14, evening opening and sessions you don't need to book.

Our picks

1

The listing with the most reviews

12-minute sessions, like Karting Club Tenerife's in Arona, with more than 460 reviews averaging 4.6; on the track's own website the adult kart works out cheaper.

2

The cheapest platform option

"Karting Tenerife" on Tiqets, €5 less than on GetYourGuide; the listing doesn't give the address, so confirm the track before paying.

3

Karting Las Américas, paid in advance

The Fañabé track, even though the listing says "Santa Cruz de Tenerife"; 10- to 20-minute sessions at the trackside price.

4

If it rains or you're a group

Motion racing simulator, 15 to 30 minutes; only five reviews, and the listing doesn't make the address clear.

Karting Club Tenerife (Arona): long track and free bus

It has two circuits: the senior track, 1,200 m long and 8 m wide, from age 15, and the junior track, 250 m, for children aged 3 to 14. Sessions last 12 minutes. Prices at the track and on its official website:

Kart Age At the track Online
Two-seater 160 cc (child + adult) child aged 3 to 5 €22 €18.70
Pony 120 cc 6 to 9 €12 €10.20
Junior Cadet 180 cc 10 to 14 €18 €15.30
Senior Cadet 200 cc 15 to 17 €20 €17
CRG 270 cc 18+ €30 €25.50
CRG Centurion 400 cc 18+ €35 €29.75

Booking on its website has three advantages: 15% off, 2 extra laps and the right to use the free bus. You don't pay in advance, but there are no cancellations or refunds either; you can only change the date up to 24 hours before. For groups they sell Grand Prix-style race packages from €70.

It doesn't publish track opening hours, only the bus times (10:00–16:00): if you want to go late, ring +34 922 730 703.

Karting Las Américas (Fañabé): open until 20:30

An 857 m track, 8 m wide, with eight bends, floodlights and timing. It's open every day of the year from 10:00 to 20:30. Sessions last 10 minutes and you don't need to book a single session. Rates from its official website:

Kart Requirement Price (10 min)
Sodikart SR4, Honda 270 cc, 11 hp from age 14 €20
Sodikart LR5 Junior, 160 cc, 7 hp aged 7 to 13 and at least 1.30 m €16
Sodikart two-seater, 270 cc child from 1.20 m with an adult over 18 €25

Residents get the "Día del kartista" (karter's day), Monday to Friday: two sessions for €25, an offer you won't be able to use as a visitor. A private race needs 8 adults or 6 juniors and a deposit. Maximum 18 karts on the track; bar and car park.

Which one to choose: the price per minute

Karting Club Tenerife Karting Las Américas
Adult 270 cc kart €25.50 online / €30 at the track (12 min) €20 (10 min)
Price per minute €2.13 online / €2.50 at the track €2.00
Age for the adult kart 18 (from 15 to 17, Senior Cadet 200 cc) 14
Small children two-seater from age 3; Pony from 6 two-seater from 1.20 m; junior from 7
Transport free bus with booking make your own way
Open until bus until 16:00 (17:00 in July and August) 20:30

If you're going to Arona, book online or paying at the track wipes out the advantage. With a 14-year-old, in Fañabé they drive the adult kart; in Arona they stay on the junior track until 15. For after the beach, Fañabé: the Arona bus stops running at 16:00. With children aged 3 to 5, the safe bet is Karting Club Tenerife's two-seater, which goes by age; in Fañabé the two-seater requires 1.20 m. More ideas in Tenerife with kids.

Adult prices checked on 2 October 2026. They can change with the date; each platform confirms the final price.

The table sets GetYourGuide's 12-minute session (from €35) against Tiqets' "Karting Tenerife" (from €30). On length and price they match Karting Club Tenerife, but neither listing gives the address: confirm before paying. Those are the trackside figures for the adult karts; on the official website, the 270 cc costs €25.50 with two extra laps. The only reason to pay more is cancellation, which the official website doesn't allow: check whether the platform listing does. And if you buy anywhere other than the official website, ring to book a seat on the bus.

For Karting Las Américas, GetYourGuide charges from €20, the same as at the track; Tiqets sells another race "in Las Américas" for €20, but doesn't say which of the two tracks it's on. As you don't need to book in Fañabé, buying online only means having it paid in advance. More in compare prices.
